Cookies

Our website uses cookies. These are small text files that your web browser stores on your device. Cookies help us to make our site more user-friendly, effective and secure.

Some cookies are “session cookies.” These cookies are automatically deleted at the end of your browser session. But other cookies are retained on your device until you delete them yourself. These types of cookies help us to identify you when you return to our website.

A modern web browser gives you the option to monitor, restrict or prevent the use of cookies. Many web browsers can be configured so that cookies are deleted automatically when the programme is closed. Deactivating cookies may limit the functionality of our website.

Cookies which are essential for electronic communication processes or to provide certain functions requested by you (e.g. shopping cart) are enabled in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f of the GDPR. As the website operator, we have a legitimate interest in saving cookies in order to provide you with technically flawless and seamless services. Should other cookies (e.g. for analysis functions) be enabled, these will be treated separately for the purposes of this privacy policy.

Google Analytics

Our website uses functions of the web analysis service Google Analytics. This web analysis service is provided by Google Inc, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.

Google Analytics uses “Cookies.” These are small text files that your web browser stores on your device and provide an analysis of website usage. Cookies generate information about your use of our website, which is then transmitted and saved on a Google server. Most of the servers are located in the USA.

Google-Analytics-Cookies are enabled in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f of the GDPR. As the website operator, we have a legitimate interest in analysing user behaviour for the purpose of optimising our website and, where appropriate, for advertising purposes.

IP anonymisation

We use Google Analytics with the IP anonymisation function. This function ensures that Google truncates your IP address within EU member states or other states party to the European Economic Area Agreement prior to transmission to the United States. In exceptional cases, Google may transmit the full IP address to a server in the USA and then truncate it there. Google will use this information on our behalf to evaluate your use of our website, to create reports on website activity and to provide us with other services relating to website activity and Internet usage. The IP address transmitted by Google Analytics is not merged with other Google data.

Browser Plugin

You can stop cookies being enabled by your web browser. This could, however, restrict some of our website functions. You may also opt not to have data collected about your use of the website, including your IP address, and subsequently processed by Google. You can do this by downloading and installing the browser plugin available from the following link: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de.

Objection to data collection

You can stop Google Analytics collecting your data by clicking on the following link. This enables an opt-out cookie to stop collecting your information during future visits to our website: Deactivating Google Analytics.

Google Analytics demographics

Our website utilises the "demographic features" function of Google Analytics. This can be used to create reports that provide information regarding the age, gender and interests of website visitors. This information is gathered from Google's interest-based marketing communications and third-party visitor data. The data cannot be assigned to a specific person. You can deactivate this function at any time. You can do this by using the ad settings in your Google Account or by generally blocking the collection of your information by Google Analytics, as explained in "Opting out of data collection".

Google AdWords und Google Conversion-Tracking

Our website uses Google AdWords. This service is provided by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, United States.

AdWords is an online advertising programme. We work with conversion tracking as part of the online advertising programme. After clicking on a Google ad, a conversion tracking cookie is generated. These cookies are small text files that your web browser stores on your device. Google AdWords cookies expire after 30 days and are not used to identify users individually. The cookie tells both Google and us that you clicked on an ad and that you were directed to our website.

Each Google AdWords customer receives a different cookie. These cookies are not traceable through AdWords customer websites. Conversion cookies are used to create conversion statistics for AdWords customers who use conversion tracking. Adwords subscribers learn how many users clicked on their ad and were redirected to pages with conversion tracking tags. But AdWords customers do not receive any information that allows a user to be personally identified. You can withdraw your consent if you do not wish to participate in tracking. In this case, the conversion cookie must be disabled in the user settings of the browser. This means that conversion tracking statistics are not recorded.

"Conversion cookies" are enabled in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f of the GDPR. As the website operator, we have a legitimate interest in analysing user behaviour to optimise our website and for our own advertising purposes.

Google AdWords and Google Conversion Tracking details can be found in the Google Privacy Policy: https://www.google.de/policies/privacy/.

A modern web browser gives you the option to monitor, restrict or prevent the use of cookies. Deactivating cookies may limit the functionality of our website.

Google Tag Manager

Our website uses Google AdWords. This service is provided by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, United States.

Google Tag Manager allows marketing companies to manage website tags from a single interface. But the Tag Manager itself, which uses the tags, works without cookies and does not collect any personal data. The Tag Manager simply triggers other tags that may themselves collect data. You may find corresponding disclosures about these third parties in this privacy policy. Tracking tags will be automatically disabled if you have disabled cookies or made any other changes.
