Joachim Heller, Managing Director of HELLER MEDIZINTECHNIK GmbH & Co. KG (Braunfels) has been appointed to the Senate of European Business

Joachim Heller
Since November 2020, Joachim Heller has represented HELLER MEDIZINTECHNIK GmbH & Co. KG as a senator in the Senate of Economy Europe and Germany.

Due to the corona pandemic, the certificate of appointment will be awarded at an event at the Senate headquarters in the Haus der Bundespressekonferenz in Berlin in 2021.

The Senate of Economy is made up of leading personalities from business, science and society who are particularly aware of their responsibility towards the state and society. Together, they contribute to the practical implementation of the common good-oriented goals of sustainability in the sense of the eco-social market economy. They are also involved in informing and advising decision-makers in politics and public authorities at national, European and international level.

The Senate of Economy thus revives the ancient and at the same time modern idea of the Senate in antiquity. It is purely oriented towards the common good and is in constant dialog with representatives from politics and science.

The honorary senators Sigmar Gabriel, Jean-Claude Juncker, Prof. Günter Verheugen, Prof. Klaus Töpfer and Rosi Gollmann are exciting sources of inspiration alongside many experts.

The ethical principles of the Senate can be the basis and guideline for the economic actions of the members of the Senate. Fairness and partnership in business life as well as the social competence of entrepreneurs and managers have a lasting impact on the work of the Senate.

“The appointment and nomination as Senator of Economy in the Senate of Economy Europe and representation of my company HELLER MEDIZINTECHNIK GmbH & Co. KG is a great honor and recognition for my employees and me,” says Joachim Heller. “As a renowned and innovative company in the healthcare sector, we feel connected to this community of values.”
