We are pleased to donate 10,000 FFP2 masks “GL001A” to the University Hospital Giessen and Marburg GmbH!

v.l.n.r.: Frau Dr. Sylvia Heinis (Kaufmännische Geschäftsführerin Universitätsklinikum Marburg), Herr Joachim Heller (Geschäftsführer HELLER MEDIZINTECHNIK GmbH & Co. KG Braunfels)
On 19.05.2021, HELLER MEDIZINTECHNIK GmbH & Co. KG Braunfels handed over 5,000 high-quality FFP2 masks (“GL001A”) with headbands to Marburg University Hospital.

5,000 masks were handed over at the Marburg site on 19.05.2021 – these are the high-quality, medically safe FFP2 masks “GL001A” with headbands, which are preferred in particular by doctors and nursing staff at the university hospital.

Prof. Dr. Renz (Medical Director of the University Hospital Marburg) and Dr. Sylvia Heinis (Commercial Director of the University Hospital Marburg) received the donation.

“We are delighted to make a contribution to the protection of hospital staff in these extraordinary, challenging times with our donation,” says Joachim Heller, Managing Director of HELLER MEDIZINTECHNIK GmbH & Co KG and Senator for European Business. For this reason, HELLER MEDIZINTECHNIK will also donate 5,000 FFP2 masks to the Giessen site.

The company also supports citizens in the Lahn-Dill region with three COVID-19 test centers in Braunfels (Haus des Gastes, Fürst-Ferdinand-Str. 4, 35619 Braunfels), Schöffengrund-Schwalbach (Sport- und Kulturhalle, Jahnstr. 2, 35641 Schöffengrund-Schwalbach) and Lahnau (Gemeinschaftshaus Dorlar, Wetzlarer Str. 14-20, 35633 Lahnau).

In addition, a mobile test center carries out tests in daycare centers or companies on request. “We sometimes test more than 200 people a day at each center,” says Joachim Heller. “We see the widespread implementation of free rapid antigen tests as an important element in positively influencing the pandemic.”

Typical is the altered gait pattern, the so-called stepper gait. Those affected lift their knees and hips excessively when walking in order to prevent the toes from getting caught.
